President’s Message
The year 2010 marks the 21th Annual conference of the Congress of
Political Economists, International (COPE). This year, we are honored
to be invited to hold our conference in Honolulu (Hawaii).
This year's conference theme, "THE ECONOMY AND ECONOMICS AFTER THE
CRISIS" reflects the Cope's concern about world economy and development
of economics. COPE strives to build a platform for educators and
practitioners throughout the world to look for solutions to essential
problems of global economics. Members of COPE come from around the
world, and past conferences have been held in 20 countries, spanning
six continents. While the majority of members come from the field of
Economics, many other social sciences are represented in the COPE
organization.
Each year, the COPE editorial board solicits papers from a wide array
of disciplines in the social sciences, and publishes many of the papers
in the annual COPE book. This year's book will contain the papers that
were reviewed and accepted for publication and presentation at the 2009
conference in Dubai.
