The theme of this year’s meeting is:
The Economics of Education and Innovation for Sustainable Growth

Primary conference hotel – 5 Stars Le Meridian, Windsor Place, New Dehli, India
Rate - $185 USD (Taxes are included in the room rate) single or double, includes full breakfast
Rooms must be reserved and paid for by May 15, 2008, otherwise there will be a $25 USD late fee charged

Secondary hotel – Lower-cost hotels nearby will be identified on the COPE web site site www.copeintl.org at a later date.

Conference registration fee - $250 USD
Publication Fee - $80 USD
COPE annual membership dues - $50 USD

Paper Submissions - Proposals (Abstracts) for paper presentations are invited from all areas of economics and business.  Examples are:

Papers are not limited to the above areas.

The deadline for submission of proposals (abstracts) is February 15, 2008

The deadline for paper submissions is April 20, 2008.

Please submit your proposal electronically to: cope2008@mtk.ut.ee

Only electronic submissions will be accepted.  The proposal should be in abstract form, approximately 400 words in length. The title of the paper, name of the author(s) and affiliation address, e-mail address of all authors must be on the top of the abstract.

All abstracts are reviewed and accepted papers are published in a reviewed book. The book will be printed after the conference and will include only the papers presented at the conference. Authors of accepted proposals are required to register for the conference and pay the annual COPE membership dues and publication fee.  The completed paper is limited to 15 pages.
