Mission

COPE´s mission is to encourage world wide discussion about the theory, principles, and problems of economics, with special emphasis on economic policy.

COPE`s Purposes

The purposes of COPE International are:

Building a platform for economists throughout the world to look for solutions to essential problems of global economics
Development of cooperation between COPE members through:

instructional and scientific activity
exchange of students and scientific staff
joint research programs and publications

The encouragement of policy-oriented economics research and discussion
The encouragement of freedom in economics discussion
The issuance of publication for the purpose of disseminating knowledge on economic subjects

Major Activities

COPE pursues these purposes by the organization of annual conventions and publishing reviewed articles, as well as by the maintenance of an international member-based network.
